Biography:
Originally from Morehead City, N.C., Miriam Thompson has been serving clients in the Wilmington area for more than a decade. Before starting her own law firm in 2001, she worked for six years at Zimmer and Zimmer, L.L.P. She earned her JD degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law in 1995. She attended St. Mary's College in Raleigh, North Carolina and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1991.
Miriam Thompson is a member of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, The North Carolina Bar Association and the New Hanover County Bar Association.
Experience:Miriam Thompson has practiced criminal, traffic and personal injury law in southeastern North Carolina since 1995. She has been featured in Lawyers Weekly for a successful DWI entrapment defense. She has settled and tried hundreds of cases, ranging from DWI and serious felony offenses to personal injury and civil cases. |
